Nothing new is happening with the book(s) yet, however the evangelism activities are turning out to be very productive. The summer event, which we haven't named yet, is scheduled for the August 4th, 2012. A planning meeting will be taking place pretty soon. The fall event, "Trunk-or-Treat" (we might change the name of that too) is scheduled for October 30th, the night of Harvest Day. The winter event, the play called "A Big Misunderstanding", is taking place on the 8th of December, but casting call will take place at Vassar Road Baptist Church on August 11th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Originally it was set for the 14th of this month, but most of the youth from some neighboring churches will be gone during that time. If you are close enough to come help and wish to participate, please come on over. We need all the help we can get. By the way, 2012's VBS went very well at my church. The curriculum was LifeWay's Amazing Wonders Aviation. It was a blast!!! What's different about this VBS from the other ones I've heard about, is that it isn't only for the young ones. There is something for everyone between the ages of preschoolers to 191. Most VBS's I've heard of only go up to 6th grade.
